Our verdict
The Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 (UK model HP11, white part 544837-01) is a 76.5 cm Dyson loop tower with three jobs: it filters the air all year, heats with ceramic plates in winter and cools with its airflow in summer. Heating is thermostatic: you set a target room temperature and it pauses once the room gets there. It oscillates up to 350°, and PM2.5, PM10 and temperature sensors drive auto mode.
It is the easiest of the Dysons we list to find filters for. Euronics lists its filter as 965432-01, the 360° Combi Glass HEPA+Carbon filter, which also fits older Dyson purifiers including the TP04, HP04, TP07 and HP09. It is not washable.
The gaps matter more on a heater. Dyson publishes no CADR, only a test in an 81 m³ room, and none of the UK pages we read gives the heater’s wattage, a noise figure or a filter interval, so we can’t estimate what it uses. Dyson’s own UK copy says the heater suits only well-insulated rooms or occasional use: treat it as a top-up. Our Dyson Hot+Cool vs Philips 3-in-1 comparison sets it against a model that states both its CADR and its heater power.

Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 (HP11) questions
Which filter fits the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 (HP11)?
The 360° Combi Glass HEPA+Carbon filter, part 965432-01, which Euronics lists for the HP11. The listing for that filter also names the TP04, DP04, HP04, TP07, HP07, TP09, HP09, TP7A, PH01, PH03 and PH04. It is one combined H13 and carbon filter, it isn’t washable, and no UK page we could read gives a change interval.
Does the Dyson HP1 stop heating when the room is warm enough?
Yes. In heating mode you set a target room temperature, and the machine pauses heating once the room reaches it. Press the Cooling mode button on the remote to switch to cooling. In auto mode the sensors raise the airflow until the target air quality and temperature are reached, then the machine pauses.
Can I use a Dyson Hot+Cool as my main heater?
Dyson doesn’t suggest it: its UK description says the heater is suitable only for well-insulated spaces or occasional use, so treat it as a top-up heater for one room. No UK page we could read gives the heater’s wattage, so we can’t say how much electricity an hour of heating uses; check the rating plate or ask Dyson.
How do I reset the filter life on a Dyson Hot+Cool HP1?
Hold the Night mode button on the remote until the five-second countdown on the screen finishes. To change the filter, switch off and unplug, press the buttons on the sides to release the outer covers, swap the filter until its tabs click and refit the covers. The screen and MyDyson app show filter life, PM readings and indoor temperature.
