Short answer: find your model below for the maker’s part number for its main filter, how often the maker says to change it, and any pet, odour or allergen version. Match the part number, not just the brand, before you buy a replacement.
Every part number and interval here comes from the maker’s own manual, filter page or spec sheet, and each product page lists the sources. Intervals are the makers’ figures for typical use: dusty or smoky rooms and long running hours wear a filter out sooner. For what the filter light counts, cleaning pre-filters and genuine versus compatible filters, read our guide to air purifier replacement filters.
Before you order
- Check the model on the label. Several filters fit one model only, and Blueair puts the model name on a label inside the purifier. Lookalike models from the same brand often take different filters.
- Genuine or compatible. Philips, Coway, Levoit, IQAir and Shark all tell owners to use their own filters. Levoit says its filter reminder is designed around genuine filters. Coway’s and Meaco’s warranties exclude damage from parts they haven’t approved, and Shark says such damage may not be covered.
- The reminder is an estimate. Filter reminders work out filter life from running hours (some also from fan speed or pollution levels); they don’t inspect the filter. Reset the reminder after you fit the new one, as the manual describes.

Gaps we know about
Dyson’s own websites refused our reader, so for most Dyson models we couldn’t read a filter part number or a change interval. Where the table says “not published”, check with Dyson using the serial number on your purifier before you buy. Coway’s UK store shows only its own codes for filters, not a separate manufacturer part number. If you know a part number we’re missing, tell us and we’ll add it once we can check it.
